As part of my trend scouting project, i have created a moodboard containing my initial research for my sketchbook, including my title, colour palette, secondary and primary imagery, drawings and fabric swatches.

To create these illustrations I used illustrator with a wacom graphic tablet and pen, i used differnt brush strokes and effects to give a ink/watercolour illustration.

I also came accross the most amazing mirrored clutch that would work wellwith almost every outfit.

Styling ..

Whilst in River Island i spotted two items I loved and thought would work well together, I combined the River Island trousers with belt attached, with the River Island orange turtle neck knit sweater and orange clutch. 

Hats, hats, hats ...

During my shop I came accross a hat that worked well with my outfit. So tempting to buy.. 

The winter scarf...

The winter scarf is an essential, however getting the right scarf is key, River Island have a bold range of pinks, creams, browns and reds. I paid alot of attention to the tartan on the right as I am in lovewith  tartan at the minute. 

Handbag Heaven

Looking at River Islands range of handbags, I was looking to see thedifferent  style that are current and colour palettes. 

River Island denim department !..

As part of my fashion course Professional Studies project, I am looking into fashion buying and what is to be involved in the job. I have been looking within fashion stores at the ranges such as the denim department to get more of a clear understanding of what i would be looking to buy for a store.

One of my favourite fashion illustrations..

I again used my 17 pot and brush for the black putline and shading and used Mac eyeshadows to create the dress colours, orange, gold, blue and purples

Makeup experimentation

I have a huge passion for makeup and fashion..

So i thought i would incorporate the two together to create a makeup technique illustration of a face, i used the 17 eyeliner pot and brush for the black outline and i used a mac blush on the cheeks with a 17 lipstick.

Exaggerated wax candle

Found this interesting candle/candle holder in a pub me and my boyfriend went to in cambridge..

I was looking up close at the textures on the candle and thought about ways i would be able to transfer the texture and shape into a fashion garment
